Everyone I know in the world is always searching for that $1,000,000 idea.  I too, have searched and searched, and scoured, and purchased, and finally I can say I have a $1,000,000 idea.  Now I am not going to tell it o you today, and maybe not tomorrow, but hopefully soon. 

Anyways I wanted to share with everybody my journey to that idea.  Now I have talked to a lot of professional business men that always say take an idea that works, tweak it and make it your own.  Now this is a great idea that works I’d say a good 60% of the time, but I also know it takes some personal ingenuity to come up with a great Idea. 

So I was staring at a blank computer screen, thinking of new ways to make money onlineto continue to grow my extra income into a full time income so I can quit my day job, when as if a lightening bolt came down and struck me in my head.  Bam, an idea was born and I have been running with it. 

Hopefully everybody can take some quiet time to reflect and ponder ways to make money online and ideas will flow.

So instead of trying to make money online on my day off from my typical 9-5 job, I decided to go out and have some fun.  I decided that paintball was a great stress reliever, and an excellent form of exercise.  I had gotten a new paintball marker and some great threads as a birthday gift two months ago and decided it was high time I used them.  A couple of great friends and I decided to head out to the family ranch where we had plenty of room to play capture the flag and so forth.  Man it was a blast.

I also wanted to let all of my readers know about a great store if you want some great gear to go out paintballing in.

5.11 gear is some excellent gear.  I personally was given some of their 5.11 undergear along with, taclite pro pants, and mesh concealment vest.  I looked like a “billy bad ass.”  I felt like one too until all the balls headed my way and I ended up getting blasted.

Good Day everyone.  Well today my friend finally wanted to continue on his wordpress blog.  This is a continuation on his journey to make money onlineand hopefully all the information will benefit you as well.  Today we are going to go through how to set up a wordpress blog.

After you have purchased your domain and webhost, ( I say use lunarpages.com) go ahead and log into your control panel.  To log into your control panel it is normally www.yourdomainname.com/cpanel.  After you log in you should see a screen such as:

At the control panel screen you will want to scroll down and click on thefantastico button. 

This will then take you to the next screen will on the left sidebar you want to click on the title wordpress:

After clicking on the wordpress sidebar button, a new screen will pull up where you want to press the new installation button :

New Installation

On the next screen I will go through the installation process by referring to each number on the screen shot.

1.  This is where you want wordpress to be installed.  i.e.  www.yourdomainname.com

2.  This is where you want to type in your admin username to log into the wordpress dashboard.  I recommend something very simple for you to remember.

3.  This is the password that will be associated with your login name.  Again I recommend something that you will be able to remember easily.

4.  This is the nickname you want to show up when you type a new post or leave a comment on your blog.

5.  Your Email address that you want any email to do with your blog sent to.

6.  This is the name of your site that will be displayed in the theme you choose.

7.  The description of your site.

This is a brief tutorial on how to install wordpress on your new website. 

Hopefully this will help all newbies install their new blog, on their journey to make money online.
