9 Tips for selling on E Bay

Posted by: User ImageEIGB  /  Category: Make Money, Programs I've Purchased, Tutorials, eBay

Selling on E Bay has become a popular home based business. It helps you to go into E-Commerce without having the trouble of setting up your own E-Commerce website. The following tips would help you to be successful in your E Bay business:

  1. Use good quality pictures of your products. It has been said that ‘A picture is worth 1000 words’. All your E Bay listings should be accompanied by good quality pictures.  If possible, use a digital camera. You can provide multiple pictures of your products so that the prospective customer can see the products from different angles.
  2. Before listing a product for sale, do some research about the product. Find out whether similar products are being sold on E Bay and at what price. Try to find out which products are in demand.
  3. Find out the best and cheapest method of shipping for your product and mention that in your E Bay listing. Also mention the shipping cost involved.
  4. The description of your product is as important as the picture. Make sure to focus on the item’s benefits. Give complete details about the product. You can use important keywords in the description.
  5. Offer different payment options to your customers. You may offer credit cards, Paypal, Moneybookers, personal checks and any other methods which you may like. The more the options, the better it is.
  6. When you are selling on E Bay, positive feedbacks are very important. So try to get positive feedbacks from your customers. If you have a good reputation, the customers can trust you and would bid for your offers.
  7. You can use the ‘About Me’ page of E Bay. It will improve your credibility with the buyers. Just give a small information about yourself, your business and the products that you offer to sell.
  8. Mention your terms and conditions clearly. Mention your shipping time and cost, your refund policy and any other terms which you may think to be important.
  9. Try to list more items. Instead of listing your items one by one, try to list all the items at the same time. This will help you to get more sales.

Ebay I feel needs to be an integral part of making money online.  Now one of the most treasured secrets that I use on Ebay is dropshipping.  Dropshipping helps you when you don’t want to go out looking for products, and/or dont have the resources to purchase products.  My next article will help with dropshipping, and I have found one of the best resources for dropshippers here.  It does cost $14.95, but you get more dropshippers than I can deal with.  It is a list of over 2000 different dropshippers, and I am now going to share them with you.  This month so far has been my best on eBay.  I am currently at around $1300 in pure profit from dropship orders.  Anyways take a gander.

Important Points to Remember in Blogging and Blogging for Adsense

Posted by: User ImageEIGB  /  Category: Affiliate Programs, Make Money, Tutorials

Thousands have entered and tried the profitable world of blogging and blogging for Adsense. As with any income generating activity, the system of blogging and blogging for Adsense does not assure you a highly profitable income. In fact, many find it rather disappointing that they do not earn the expected amount of money with blogging. Yet, in spite of these experiences, there are still those people who have mastered the art of blogging and blogging for Adsense to the point that they earn hundreds to thousands of dollars a month. A simple search around the Web can prove that there are indeed people who earn tons of money from blogging that they have given up their full time jobs to focus on blogging.

Knowing this, of course, does not entitle you to suddenly leave your drab offices and announce to your family that you quit your job and your about to become a millionaire blogger. There is more to that in becoming a successful, money earning blogger. Below are a few tips and important points to remember in blogging and blogging for Adsense. Know them by heart and you will find blogging a worthwhile and earning activity.

Point 1.  Adsense has a set of strict rules with bloggers and website owners. Being approved for an Adsense account does not assure you that you are on your way to wealth and prosperity. In maintaining and running your blog or blogs with Adsense ads, you must always follow Adsense rules strictly or they might just close your account. Following Adsense rules include staying away from illegal click activities, getting copyrighted material, illegal blog content, and others. Before you start blogging and blogging for Adsense, it is necessary that you read and internalize the terms of service of both your blog host and Adsense.

Point 2: Place your Adsense ads strategically. To take part in blogging and blogging for Adsense, you do not simply make the ads appear. Working and thinking must be given when it comes to placing ads on your blog. Make them noticeable to your readers. Place them in strategic areas where people who get interested in the ad can easily see and click them.

Point 3: Know the relation of your niche to your ads. While Adsense automatically generates the ads to be placed on your blogs, you can somehow have a choice on which kind of ads will appear on your blog based on how you described your blog in Adsense. Also, another factor would be your content. Adsense places different ads on your site based on how it sees the ads relation to your blog content.

Point 4: Maintain a blog niche that interests you. While anybody can set up a free or paid blog, interest is important in blogging and blogging for Adsense. Adsense can see right through blogs which are simply set up as spam. Since Adsense can bring money, many people set up blogs without a real interest on what they are blogging about. Sincerity in blogging and blogging for Adsense can matter much.

Be Careful When Selling Online

Posted by: User ImageEIGB  /  Category: Uncategorized

Hello and Good Day everyone.  I wanted to let you all know that there are dangers of selling online.  There will always be scammers, and here is my thoughts on that.

You know the old saying, “Let the buyer beware”?  Well, there is a new saying on the internet: “Let the seller beware, too!”

When you decide to sell any item online, regardless of whether it’s via eBay or Amazon.com, there are certain criteria you need to follow so that you will not become the victim of a scam.

In the case of eBay, (and it doesn’t happen often), there may come a time when you are scammed by a buyer.  How?  Here is an example:  Let’s assume you are selling an item for the first time.  The item in question is to be paid via PayPal.  A buyer wins the auction and emails you via eBay that he doesn’t have a PayPal account and would like to send you a cashier’s check that has been written for more than the amount due.  He may ask that you send him the difference once the check arrives.  Because you are a trusting person, you agree.

When the check does arrive, you deposit it into your account, send the item to the buyer along with the difference, and a few days later you receive a notice from the bank that the check has bounced because it was a fake check.

Lo and behold, when you try to notify the buyer at home (you can with eBay’s services), the number is unlisted or there is no such number, and you are left holding the proverbial bag.  This is just one of the scams some unscrupulous individuals use to commit fraud.

Here’s another example:  Let’s say you’ve become quite good at selling on eBay and have a very high feedback rating.  You only accept payment via PayPal.  So one day an item you have up for auction sells, and the buyer is notified; just as in the example above.

You check your PayPal account and see that the money has been deposited into it.   Since you may have other auctions going on the same week, you wait to withdraw the funds until all the auctions are over.  Since you have all of the items packaged and ready to be sent, all you have to do is address them, add the postage and leave them for UPS or take them to the Post Office.

Being diligent and organized, you send out the first item the same day it was won.  You repeat the process in the following days ahead.  By Friday, all the items have been shipped and you go into your PayPal account and notice the first item has been cancelled.

“But I shipped the item!”  Yes, you did and now you are out the money because you know full well you are not going to be able to reach this person.

Although it is rare, there are people in this world who are out to make a quick buck at your expense.  Things happen sometimes, but not often.  Instead of stressing over it, follow the guidelines of eBay and Amazon and utilize the appropriate action to its final conclusion.  You may be successful or you may not.  It depends upon the person you are dealing with, where they live, and how much eBay and Amazon can help in this regard.

While you may not receive compensation, you can rest assured that these people will have their accounts cancelled and, in some cases, be referred to the local authorities.
