Welcome back!
Many of you probably have seen the many sites promising free TV’s, free camera’s, free iPhones, etc if you sign up. Well I was just emailed a report on how to make money online by signing up for all of these freebie sites then selling that stuff on ebay. Well I decieded to go to a few of these websites to see what all was needed to complete this free offer. On one of these sites I needed to complete a total of 6 different offers to recieve my free 42″ LCD TV.
Well I wanted to calculate how much I would have to spend on these “offers” that had to be completed to recieve my 47″ TV so that I could resell it and make money online. Well first things first, I priced out the television and if I was to go to the store down the block, it would cost only $897. Same exact television, brand, model, etc.
Alright so as long as it costs me less than say $600 dollars to get the television, I was golden. I could resell the telvision for profit and make money online. Well the first two offers that I needed to complete would run me $19.95 a month and to be eligible I would have to keep the service for six months. So on the “Bronze Level” I have already spent, $39.98 x 6 = $239.88. WOW. Onto the “Silver” offers. The two I picked out was going to cost me $99.99 to purchase and $14.95 a month for a minimum of 12 months. Alright so now my total is $14.95 x 12 = $179.40 + 99.99 +239.88 = $519.27. WOW almost there. In the terms and services it also says that I would have to wait 12 months to recieve my television. Anyways on I went to the “Gold” offers. The first off I looked at was $59.99 for six months. That alone totals $359.94. Well didn’t even bother looking at the next offer for now it is easy, and cost effective to actually go down to the store and purchase myself a new television. Yes I would have some subscriptions that may or may not be helpful, but yet to me the time to do all this is not worth the hassle.
Anyways that is my two cents on this boring, lazy, sunday.
Happy Earning

:sigh: As a relative beginner to photographry I still feel awed by how much I need to learn. However, the more posts like this i read, the better off i am. Thanks for making me think a bit more.
